Trees Along The Riverbank

This original watercolor painting represents s group of trees along the banks of the Missouri river. The artwork was created on a day with many clouds, yet we still see dappled sunlight filtering through the trees onto the ground. Stack skillfully captures the atmosphere of the day, his mixes of grays and blues representing the largely overcast sky, while lemon and pink washes represent the sunlight filtering through.
